Holloway provides a safe environment where residents can confide in our staff, to know that they will be heard, understood and cared for. We want to know their favourite food; their favourite activities; the names of their grandchildren. This personal connection is the foundation upon which we build strong relationships with residents and their families. We encourage transparent communication and family involvement in the decision making process around care needs.

For more independent residents, we recognise the need for privacy and a sense of autonomy. This is especially important for couples in care, and we always aim to keep family member together, whenever possible. We encourage inclusivity and engage our residents in a wide range of lifestyle activities.

Family members will often tell us that their loved ones experience an increased sense of purpose; a renewed new zest for life.

For high-care, dementia care and palliative-care residents, our High-Care team provides residents with the specialised care they need and deserve. With an in-house nurse on duty 24/7, you can be confident that Holloway will provide the highest possible level of care and quality of life for your loved one. We also provide support and counselling to family members dealing with loved-ones with progressive dementia.
